ADULT TREATMENT PROGRAMMING

The Consortium Addiction Treatment programs seek to provide individuals and their families with services that help support the individual’s path to recovery. The Consortium provides individualized treatment services, which are developed in collaboration with the individual seeking service to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. The Consortium offers an array of services which include individual and group counseling (IOP/OP), family and couples counseling, care coordination services, trauma focused therapy, 12-step education, employment assistance, peer support and medication assistance.

The Medication assisted treatment (MAT) options include Methadone, Vivitrol (Naltrexone), Suboxone and Buprenorphine. Medication assisted treatment options are available solely to those persons with a documented, current, or historical, dependence on any opiate based substance. All people seeking medication assistance must also meet the minimum age requirement of 18. Naltrexone, may also be prescribed to those with a documented alcohol use disorder. All treatment options have been proven to be highly recommended instruments to support change.

Referrals to the adult programs initiate from those seeking help and treatment, family and friends, as well as external agencies such as Probation and Parole, In-patient hospitals, other human service agencies, medication assisted treatment programs and/or providers, as well as the individual themselves.

Treatment staff are trained to provide evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (geared towards the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and client centered therapy.

The program offers on-site child care services, convenient hours, and is easily accessible to individuals seeking services. We are located in the heart of Philadelphia’s University City District at 451 South University Avenue.
